Samsung released a June 2022 firmware update for Galaxy Z Flip
Recently Galaxy Z Flip, often called the original, has received the June 2022 firmware update, which can be identified with build no. F700FXXU8GVF3. This update was spotted and received in Italy.
It’s a normal security level patch, but this time some improvements in UI are seen, although the changelog hasn’t been updated.
Following improvements were experienced:
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity has been improved for better security.
- The QR Code scanning functionality and security have been improved.
Not much has improved apart from the device’s security, just a regular update. Samsung seems to take care of its devices regarding security and updates. Expect the update to be released soon in other parts of the world.
It also includes security and privacy issues that are not limited to. It can also include general bug fixes, device stability improvements, and overall system stability.
Released 2020, February 14, the Galaxy Z Flip was the first to debut as a clamshell-designed flippable smartphone from Samsung sporting Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855+ (7 nm) with Android 10 on board and upgradable to the latest OS & UI as per Samsung’s 4-Year Software Support Policy.
