Today, Samsung has released a July update for the Galaxy S20 FE series. The update was received as an OTA in Europe & Asian regions for a Galaxy S20 FE.

It can be identified with firmware identifier no. G780GXXS3CVF3 & G781BXXS4FVF3, for Galaxy S20 FE LTE & Galaxy S20 FE 5G respectively.

The update informed that the overall stability of functions had been improved along with the security of the device, primarily.

This monthly revision brings the latest security patch level: 1 July 2022, with Google’s and Samsung’s security and privacy issues, fixed.

The update has visited Asian/Euro regions and is expected to reach other regions soon.
This time it’s just a security update that improves the overall stability of the device.

According to the changelog & user-posted screenshot on the Samsung Community Europe, the update is for security and privacy issues fix but is not limited to it; it can also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements, with more enhanced features and further improvements to performances.

It is expected that this July 2022 security patch will fix dozens of vulnerabilities related to user privacy and data security.

Samsung advises keeping your device updated and regularly checking for software updates.
Users can also check for the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install or turning auto-updates or notifications on in the settings of your device.
