In a recent post Today, a user posted a screenshot on the Samsung Community Korea that informs of an update for the Galaxy Wearable app. The update comes with version 2.2.11.22071811, released on July 20, 2022, accompanying a download size of 107.27 MB. This FOTA provides the plugin update for the Galaxy Wearable app.

The update is dubbed ‘Closed Beta 1’. A closed beta is a version released by developers called a private beta. The closed beta versions are released to a limited cluster of individuals for a user test by invitation; the testing is confined to a specific set of testers, which may be comprised of current patrons, premature adopters, and or paid beta testers.

Galaxy Wearable App & Its Components:

The Galaxy Wearable app links your wearable devices to your smartphones while managing and monitoring the wearable device features and applications you’ve installed through Galaxy Apps, while the plugin application is a component of the Galaxy Wearable Application. Obviously, Galaxy Wearable Application has to be installed in advance for this to work. This usually fixes runtime exceptions, glitches, bugs, or viruses in the app with issues related to connectivity but is not solely limited to it.

We should expect an open beta, also called a public beta, soon enough or, even better, a stable version. You can view the user-posted screenshot in the below links.
