United States: One UI 5.0 Beta Program Available For Galaxy S22 Series – How To Install

Samsung officially confirmed through a community post that T-Mobile carrier exclusively opened One UI 5 Beta in the US for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Previously the beta program become first available in Europe (Germany), then in the home country (S.Korea), and now finally landed in the United States On T-Mobile and Unlocked carriers.

USA network carriers usually provide the software update to the users; unlike the unlocked smartphones where device manufacturers provide it, the carrier-locked smartphones get the software update after 3 step process:

Manufacturer testing, Internal Network Testing, and Regulatory approval. This takes a bit while than the regular OTA updates are released by the device manufacturers.

One UI 5.0 Beta Program In Unites States

Owners who utilize the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, or Galaxy S22 Ultra on T-Mobile or a Samsung unlocked handset can participate in the One UI 5 Beta testing program.

Registration Process: 

  • Open Samsung Members app
  • On the Homepage 
  • Tap the Notification icon
  • Followed by open the Beta banner
  • Fill out the form and complete the enrollment.

Installation Process:

  • Go into system Settings
  • Now scrolling down and tapping Software updates 
  • Tap on Download and install button.
