As we have seen, the Samsung’s latest September 2022 update fixes more than 20 vulnerabilities: MTP driver issues have been fixed, memory access errors in various functions, improper access control, SystemUI privilege issues, issues in Photo Editor, a bug that could have allowed an attacker to initiate emergency calls remotely and beyond. Among the several vulnerabilities cited by Samsung, this time none is marked as critical.
The system’s general stability is enhanced as usual when the most recent patches are used. There doesn’t seem to be any new information in the update. We’ll have to wait till Android 13 and One UI 5.0 are implemented, which is now in beta in several regions and will be released in a stable form in the upcoming months.
While waiting for it to arrive in our country as well, you can check its availability via the Settings > Software Updates > Download and Install.
