In recent days, we have been getting several updates related to Samsung’s upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 regarding its dimensions, UI, and Camera Lenses and bezels. And the Korean tech giant will unveil it next year.

Today here’s new information about the upcoming Galaxy S23 series; a new report suggests that the device will launch with Exynos chips in some regions.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 uses different chipsets depending on the regions where it is sold. Exynos chipsets from Samsung are used in devices for the European market, whereas Snapdragon chipsets from Qualcomm are used in devices for the rest of the world.

Galaxy S23 may launch with Exynos chip in some regions

According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy S23 would utilize a Snapdragon chipset everywhere. However, according to today’s slip-up, the company’s upcoming flagship series may still employ an Exynos chipset in some regions.

Samsung would not have stopped making chipsets despite the dismal Exynos 2200 because it was working on the Exynos 2300 chipset. And it would be willing to sell its upcoming chipset to Chinese clients and stick with Qualcomm chipsets for its upcoming smartphones.

A recent report, however, claims that Samsung’s smartphone business would be unhappy with the decision because it would desire the Galaxy S23 range to only utilize Snapdragon processors, while Samsung Electronics would prefer to keep using Exynos chipsets in specific countries.

Even if the Galaxy S23 series were to use the alleged Exynos 2300 chipset, the percentage of devices animated by Qualcomm’s SoC is likely to increase, as confirmed by Qualcomm’s CEO earlier this year.

If history repeats it is likely that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will be available with the Exynos 2300 chipset in Europe and with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the rest of the world.
