Samsung Galaxy S10 And S20 FE Update To The Latest September 2022 Security Patch

Samsung’s software support for its devices from a few years ago maintains its winning trend for the Android community. The Korean company has just launched the latest update, this time to reflect the September 2022 security patch.

The Samsung branded smartphones in this collection are, in total, four and more precisely: Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10+, Samsung Galaxy S10e, and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 series made a list change last April, moving from the monthly update to the quarterly update and now the trio is receiving the September 2022 security patches.

The update, which contains September security patches and fixes as many as 24 security vulnerabilities, is identified with versions G97*FXXSGHVI1 for Galaxy S10 series  (where the * varies by model, and will be a 0 for the Galaxy S10, a 3

 for the Galaxy S10e, and an 5 for the Galaxy 10+) and G780FXXUADVI1 for Galaxy S20 FE and, according to Samsung, includes several general bug fixes, stability improvements, and improved performance.

The update is rolling out for the Galaxy S10 series in European regions. At the same time, the Galaxy S20 FE is getting the update in Russia.

Users can also check for the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install or turning auto-updates or notifications on in your device’s settings.
