Samsung Galaxy S22 Updates Early With October 2022 Patches In The US [Unlocked]

Samsung confirms itself swift and careful in deploying software updates for its smartphones and starts the deployment of a new security update for the Galaxy S22 series.

The update in question consists of the S90*U1UES2AVI5 build (where the * varies by model, and will be a 1 for the Galaxy S22, a 6 for the Galaxy S22+, and an 8 for the Galaxy 22 Ultra) and is directed to Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra. Then come Android security patches updated to October 2022, which fix several vulnerabilities at the Android system and One UI level. No other news would be included.

The update is currently being automatically deployed via OTA for unlocked variant of the US users, so we expect it to arrive in carrier locked and global variant soon. According to the SamMobile

 report, the update is currently available on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, and C-Spire networks.

Users can also check for the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install or turning auto-updates or notifications on in your device’s settings.
