Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Series Updated To October 2022 Security Patch In Europe

Samsung has begun to update the two models of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 family including Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra with the latest version of the Android October 2022 security patch for European countries.

The series has three models namely:

  • Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G –N986BXXS5FVI4
  • Galaxy Note 20 5G – N981BXXS5FVI4
  • Galaxy Note 20 Ultra LTE –N986FXXS5FVI4
  • Galaxy Note 20 LTE – N981FXXS5FVI4

However, they will be disappointed to find that the update does not bring any new features. Only the new security patch is included in the update. The latest October 2022 security patch fixes over 40 security vulnerabilities.

It fixed security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Some of those vulnerabilities allowed unauthorized users to access call information, the device’s serial number, configuration data, and secure memory content and allowed them to perform malicious actions.

This update is currently deploy in Albania, Gernau, Germany, Greece,  Poland, Portugal, Tom Ukraine, Southeast Europe, Kazakhstan, the Baltic region, the Netherlands, and Uzbekistan. And it will gradually be extended to the rest of the regions.
