Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone Galaxy S23 Ultra has recently been in the news. The design of the device is rumored to undergo a significant upgrade. Still, as of right now, it appears that the new handset will maintain a more traditional appearance.

The design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, shared by OnLeaks in recent days, shows a very thin frame all around with a 3x telephoto lens and bump-free laser focus sensor.

But today, the Ice Universe leaker denied those renders by reporting that according to its sources, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra design would be similar to its predecessor, so with the thicker chin and protrusions for each of the five of the rear lenses.

The design would also be conservative and more like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra featured on the cover and below, as Samsung intends to cut expenses on manufacturing its next series of flagship smartphones.

Aside from the alleged design, we can focus on what the next top-of-the-range par excellence of Samsung’s house will have to offer from a hardware point of view. Certainties from this point of view are still few, but following the renewed agreements between Samsung and Qualcomm, it seems very likely that the range will be based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
