Verizon Pushes October 2022 Security Patch For Galaxy Z Fold 3 And Flip 3 In The US

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 Verizon units are receiving the most recent update, which includes Android Security Patch Level: October 2022 in the US, with Software Version/Firmware Build F926USQS2DVI4 and F711USQS3DVI4 respectively.

Samsung informed this software update provides performance improvements and the latest Android security patches for your device. With October 2022 security patch it fixes 32 vulnerabilities, which are related to unauthorized users to access call information, the device’s serial number, configuration data, and secure memory content and allowed them to perform malicious actions.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3/Flip 3 are the last year’s foldable flagships from Samsung and is eligible for four years of major android and UI updates, according to Samsung’s four-year software update policy.  

According to Verizon, this software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.
