Samsung’s New LPDDR5X DRAM: Samsung has been the biggest tech giant of the past few decades. The company has a strong hold on the electronics industry too. Recently, Samsung launched LPDDR5X DRAM, having a data transfer speed of 8.5 Gbps. This latest LPDDR jumps over the company’s maximum speed, which was 7.5 Gbps previously. Samsung achieved this speed in March 2022.

This LPDDR5X DRAM is authenticated to use on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Mobile Platform. The demand for LPDDR5X DRAM has also seen a massive increase in the PC market. LPDDR DRAM’s high performance at low power consumption helps PC makers to manufacture smaller, lighter and more powerful laptops.

LPDDR memory chips are an important component for modern automated vehicles also. This helps to process large amounts of data generated by the vehicle’s autonomous driving features. Its low power characteristic also plays an important role in deducting power consumption levels in data centers and edge servers and results in reduced cost of ownership.
