US Variant Of Galaxy S23 Plus Appears On Geekbench Database With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

The South Korean tech manufacturer ‘Samsung’ is nowadays testing its upcoming flagship range ‘Galaxy S23’. Recently its Galaxy S23+ device got featured in Geekbench. Its Model Number SM-S916U reveals that the device is a US variant of the Galaxy S23+ device. Theretofore, last month the US variant of the Galaxy S23 device was shown in the database.

The device will be run on Android 13 with One UI 5 layer on top of it. However, the benchmarking database didn’t reveal much about the device, but as per the rumors, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor for power. Depending on its availability market, it may have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC of Qualcomm, or it will have the Exynos 2300 SoC in it.

The device is expected to be equipped with an Octa-core SoC having the codename Kalama with a configuration of 1+3+4 cores in it. Its primary core delivers a clock speed of up to 3.36 GHz, 3 cores have a frequency of 2.02 GHz, and the rest 4 are running the 2.80 GHz frequency. The CPU core is accompanied by a Qualcomm Address 740 GPU.

Other than these, the leaks revealed that it might have a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen having a refresh rate of 120Hz. A triple camera setup on the back has a 50 Megapixel primary camera, 12 Megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 10 Megapixel telephote camera within this. The device will also have a 12 Megapixel front camera to take selfies. It will have a total of 8GB RAM, as the database shows.
