Samsung Exynos 1330 And Exynos 1380 SoC Appeared On Bluetooth SIG Database

Samsung Exynos’s mid-range processors recently got appeared on the internet. The Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380 were spotted on the database of Bluetooth SIG. Those chipsets are reported to power the upcoming generation device of the Galaxy A series. From these two, the Exynos 1330 chipset seems new, but Exynos 1380 chipset was included in talks multiple times over the past few months.

As we all know, Samsung used to launch a new device of the Galaxy A series in the Quarter of the respective year; it is assumed that the company might introduce the Galaxy A54 or Galaxy A74 devices in the rise of 2023. As per the reports, at least one of these devices might be powered by Exynos’s upcoming mid-range processors that are mentioned above.

Apart from these upcoming devices, both the chipsets (Exynos 1330 and Exynos 1380) will power Samsung’s other Galaxy A, Galaxy F, and Galaxy M series devices, including smartphones and tablets. Now let’s have a look at the features of both these chipsets that are revealed by the certification database ‘Bluetooth SIG’ or rumored and reported on the internet.

According to the certification, both of these Exynos processors will get the support of Bluetooth 5.3 through the Samsung Bluetooth Controller v6, named separate RF chip. Coming to the Exynos 1330, the certification only revealed a little about it, but as per the expectations, it will be a successor to Exynos 850 or Exynos 880. We have yet to get any confirmed information regarding this.

If we talk about the Exynos 1380, it will provide faster performance than its predecessor Exynos 1280. Regarding it, the chipset will have two ARM Cortex-A series high-performance CPU cores and the Mali series GPU, which is most likely to be Mali-G615. It will also get a 5G modem with the support of mmWave and sub-6GHz connectivity. The chipset is assumed to be equipped in the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 devices.
