Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 4G Updating One UI 4.1.1 With Android 12L

Samsung has rolled out the new Android update for Tab S6 Lite 4G. The device was released back in May 2020. It is basically the Lite version of the original Galaxy Tab S6, which is available at approximately half the price of the original one. According to its price tag, it also provides fewer features but has all important features.

For the larger screens, Android has designed a separate OS that has all similar features but is customized for large displays, so users don’t have to face any issues while enjoying their stuff on their device. Therefore the latest update brings the Android 12L update; unfortunately, it doesn’t consist of the November 2022 security patch.

Right now, the latest update is available in India. However, Samsung will expand the One UI 4.1.1 update to other countries soon. While the Wifi-only version of the tablet already received the Android 12 update a few months ago.

One UI 4.1.1 Features

The update includes features like 12L refining the system UI to make it more beautiful and easier to use on large screens—across notifications, quick settings, lock screen, overview, the home screen, and more.

The notification shade takes advantage of the space on large screens by showing Quick Settings and notifications in a new two-column layout. The lock screen also uses a larger two-column layout to highlight notifications and clocks, and system apps like Settings are also optimized.

When you use a large screen probably do multiple tasks at a time, in this update has introduced a new productivity feature that makes multitasking even more powerful and interactive. Now 12L adds a new taskbar that makes it easier to launch and switch apps on the fly. In gesture navigation, a quick-switch gesture makes using the taskbar even faster.

For apps that are not yet optimized, it has made visual and stability improvements to our compatibility mode to provide a better experience for users and make those apps look better by default.
