New update For Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Brings Redesigned Watch Faces

Samsung has released the latest November 2022 security update for both fifth-generation watch,i.e., Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The latest update is currently available in Korea; users who own these watches can identify the latest update by its firmware version number R920XXU1AVK7.

November 2022 security patch includes several improvements regarding device security and performance. It also brings some known bug fixes that provide a lot of enhancements that give more stability to the Watches.

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is also getting some features, such as redesigned Ball Watch face, and stabilization codes related to notification reception have been applied; however, it is not yet confirmed whether the same features are available for the base variant(Galaxy watch 5) or not.

Samsung launched the Galaxy 5 series watch recently in August 2022, which comes with Android wear OS 3.5 (One UI watch 4.5), currently receiving the third security update in the form of a November 2022 security patch, while its previous generation (Galaxy watch 4) series already got the latest security update a few days ago.

How to install

To update your Galaxy watch 5 you have to connect your phone to the watch 

  1. First of all, you have to make sure the watch has a good charge on it before starting the process or you will not be able to update it.
  2. Now  on a connected phone, navigate to and open the Galaxy wearable app
  3. Tap on watch settings, and then tap watch software update
  4. If your watch displays a Home  tab, swipe up and tap watch software update or band software update, then tap Download and install
