Samsung has released the new One UI 5.0 (Android 13) update back to back for foldable phones. This time Galaxy Z Fold 2 is receiving the stable update. Currently, Samsung has pushed the Android 13 update in the beta participant countries, that’s why the Galaxy Z Fold 2 device is receiving the latest Android update initially in the UK. The latest update comes with firmware version number F916BXXU2IVK3. However, the update will expand soon to other countries. It also brings November 2022 security patch.

The latest update brings new features. One UI 5 update is based on Android 13 and is a new major update for Galaxy Z Fold 2, which includes several new features as well as various bug fixes which provide a better experience to users of their devices; with the update, Samsung has revamped the UI design, added some new customization tools to personalize wallpaper, clock style, notification settings, and more.

The Samsung keyboard has now improved and received some new functions such as stickers, emojis, and gifs; some additional features have also been introduced, like medical info SOS, RAM Plus, and more.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was launched back in 2020 and comes with Android 10 pre-installed, now grabbing the third Android update in the form of Android 13. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Fold 2 device is getting the last update. However, it still receives some security updates in the future.
