Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, A52s 5G, and M62 5G join devices updated to Android 13 with One UI 5

For a few days, mid-range phones have been on Samsung’s radar. Now, the company is releasing the Android 13 update to several Galaxy smartphones, including Galaxy M32, Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A73 5G, and more. In fact, there are different smartphones of the brand that, in recent times, are updating to Android 13 with the new proprietary One UI 5 interface, to the delight of owner users; today, three other devices are added to the list.

Samsung has released the One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy M62 smartphones. However, the update is available in different regions for each device. The update in question, therefore, brings several improvements and changes at the graphical level, also introducing more options for customizing the device; in addition, the latest security patches available, those of November 2022, is introduced at the same time.

As for the Galaxy A52s 5G model, the update to Android 13 with One UI 5 (with firmware version A528NKSU1DVK2) is currently being released in the Korean domestic market, and all others should follow in the coming days.

The update for Galaxy A52 5G devices carries the firmware version A526BXXU1DVK2 and is currently available in several European countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Baltic region, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, the Nordic region and the United Kingdom.

Another member of Samsung’s M-series is receiving the update in question in the last few hours; the M625FXXU2CVK2 firmware version is currently being released in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam, which is expected to be followed by other markets in the coming days.

The latest update also brings the November 2022 security update, which includes dozens of patches from google as well as from Samsung. Furthermore, these patches refine the device security that helps to protect devices from external threats like malware and viruses.

The One UI 5.0 includes a variety of features that improves the system’s abilities and make an interesting User interface so users can experience the next-level performance of their device, as well as some personalization tools are also introduced, so you easily customize various function according to your own. 

As usual, for all of the above devices, the update procedure is the same: go to Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install. Since this is a major update, that is, a change in the Android version, it is usually advisable to proceed with a preventive backup, as well as a reset to factory settings before the update, which is not mandatory.
