We are near to end of 2022, and Samsung is working round the clock and providing the Android 13 update to Galaxy devices. The list of Galaxy devices is increasing day by day, which has got Android 13, irrespective of the price range, and Samsung wants to give this update to all as soon as possible. Now to expand this update, the Korean giant has released the One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy M42 5G.

The latest Android 13 update for Galaxy M42 5G update comes with firmware version number M426BXXU3CVK5. The current update is now available for India. It also brings a new November 2022 security update, and according to Samsung’s official documentation, the device only gets four security updates annually, so it will be the last security update for this year. And expect to get more updates regarding security patches in the future.

M42 5G device is one of the premium M Series devices launched in 2021 and came with Android 11 pre-installed. Now the phone is receiving its second major OS update in the form of Android 13. while launched previously, we hope it will also get the support of two more updates in the near future.

The latest One UI 5.0 is based on Android 13, which means it includes all the features of the latest Android OS, but then Samsung customizes and optimizes it according to its Galaxy devices and introduces it in the form of the latest One UI. Samsung also added some new features, such as stacked widgets, new AR emojis, stickers, and Gifs, and some inbuilt apps have also been updated. Some privacy features are added that give users more restriction power, so they can easily set the limitation and protect from data leak.
