Qualcomm announces Samsung as its official smartphone partner for the Snapdragon Pro series

The American multinational corporation Qualcomm has recently made an important announcement. It has been made for its multi-title mobile esports league “Snapdragon Pro series.” The manufacturer has announced that the South Korean manufacturer “Samsung” will be its official smartphone partner for this series. As a result of this partnership, Galaxy devices featuring Snapdragon chips will be used by esports competitors at a certain level in various regions. 

Stephanie Choi, the Executive Vice President, and Head of Global Marketing stated, “As the Official Smartphone Partner of the Snapdragon Pro Series, this announcement deepens our existing collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and is an important step in our pursuit to advancing mobile technology in the esports world.” However, the company hasn’t revealed which of the Galaxy devices will be a part of this Snapdragon Pro Series event. 

We are expecting that the manufacturer may offer its flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to the competitors/participants of the esports. As we all know, both of these models are getting powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, so these would be the best and most appropriate options. Besides, the manufacturer will also switch up to its upcoming flagship Galaxy S23, which will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC in it.

Let you know Snapdragon Pro Series competitors will only use the Galaxy devices at Mobile challenge and Mobile Masters Levels at Sanctioned competitions. For example, It will be used in the upcoming Mobile Challenge finals at DreamHack Valencia which is going to start later this month. These esports events were held in various regions, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, India, and Asia-Pacific.
