After updating the main Galaxy S20 series a couple of weeks ago, Samsung has released the December 2022 security update for the fan edition device. Surprisingly, Samsung has updated the LTE variant of the Galaxy S20 FE device instead of the 5G device.

The December 2022 security update for the Galaxy S20 FE is currently available in several European countries, including Baltic countries, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Open Austria, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain. However
, the update soon be available for the other countries as well.

Users who own the Galaxy S20 FE LTE device can identify the December 2022 update by its build number G780FXXSAEVL1. The device was launched in 2020 and came with Android 10, and recently the device has also received the latest Android update in the form of Android 13. As per the information, this update(Android 13) will be the last major update for Galaxy S20 FE LTE.

According to the changelog, the update doesn’t bring any new features, but it comes with several new bug fixes which improve the overall performance and reliability of the device. It may also include fixes related to stability issues as the device has recently received the major OS update and support of the new One UI 5.0.
