One UI 5.0 rolls out for Galaxy M13

Samsung has begun rolling out Android 13 for the Galaxy M13 smartphone. Initially, the Korean giant served the update in Europe. According to Samsung’s official schedule of the Android 13 rollout, the Galaxy M13 device was mentioned in January, but the device has to get updated a month early.

As of now, the Galaxy M13 device has received the Android 13 update in Europe, it carries a new firmware version number M135FXXU1BVL2, and the update also includes the latest security update as November 2022 security patch. According to Samsung’s official documentation, the latest security update includes 46 patches that fix several security vulnerabilities.

Galaxy M13 device is an entry-level smartphone. There are two variants available of the device, one is LTE, and the second one is the 5G variant, both of the variants has released in mid-2022 and come with Android 12 on board, and now the LTE variant of the Galaxy M13 is receiving Android 13 update, while the 5G variant already grabbed the One UI 5.0 update a few days ago. As the device was recently launched this year, we guess that it will get more Android updates in the future. However, it is an entry-level smartphone, so we can’t say how many Android updates it will get in the coming time.

Samsung has released a new generation of its skin One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13. The update includes all new features of the latest Android OS, as well as there, are more features added by Samsung for its Galaxy smartphones. According to the official changelog, the update brings several new, improved features, which are added under several inbuilt apps such as Camera, Samsung Keyboard, Gallery, and settings. There are some new features, which have also been introduced, like stacked widgets, AR emojis, and stickers, Extract and scan text, Auto optimization, and more.
