The South Korean tech conglomerate Samsung’s One UI currently has a total of 5 generations. One UI 5, the latest one, has introduced a few months ago with its initial version, One UI 5.0. Now, the company is working on One UI 5.1, an updated version. Previously, we received a report regarding its testing with the upcoming Galaxy S23 series, which made it clear that the company has started working on it already. Now, it has been found that One UI 5.1’s testing is undergoing for the Galaxy S22 series as well.

As per the post shared by a user on the community of Samsung, the manufacturer has already started the testing of One UI 5.1 firmware for the Galaxy S22 Series. The user has also shared a screenshot with the firmware no. in it. Notably, the device with model no. SM-S908E (Galaxy S22 Ultra) has recently been spotted on a testing website with firmware version S908EOXM2BVKM

in the category of One UI update. Besides, it was rumored yesterday, too, that Samsung is now moving on to Galaxy S22 and S21 series for firmware development.

Coming to the One UI 5.1, which will be introduced with the Galaxy S23 series devices out of the box. The company has finally completed the development and all stages of its testing with the Galaxy S23, according to the previous reports and now they are jumping over to the other currently available high-end devices such as Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 so that they can catch up with their current speed of update distribution. Notably, because One UI 5.1 is the successor of One UI 5.0, it will contain more customizable properties than its predecessor.
