Samsung has released the Android 13 update for its several Galaxy devices worldwide. The Galaxy A51 is also one of those devices that received the One UI 5.0 a month ago. The Unlocked variant of the device also received the update at the same time.

However, the update also made the debut on the Verizon and Xfinity network first time for the carrier-locked variant of the device. Still, after that, the update wasn’t released by any major carriers for the Galaxy A51. The users of T-Mobile, AT&T, and MetroPCS are still waiting for the Android 13 update.

Several users have reported communicating with Samsung regarding the update, but the company has replayed that it’s up to your carrier when they will release the update. On the other hand, if you contact the respected carriers, they are saying that the update is on the hand of Samsung. In short, they are just escaping from their mistakes.

When you buy a carrier-locked device from a respected service provider, you probably thought about that this company should take care of your device or at least the company will work transparently for you. Still, unfortunately, this is the core problem which every carrier-locked device user faces, and there is no way to do anything against it. What you can do is wait and hope the update should be available soon on the devices.
