Samsung has started rolling out another update for carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 smartphones, including Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in the United States. The update, which is currently rolling out to users of the Verizon, Xfinity, Comcast, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile variants of the phone, brings improvements and bug fixes to the device.

The update includes the latest January 2023 Android security patch, which was already rolled out a week ago, and some improvements to the device’s performance. The new software update brings firmware with version S90*U1UES2BWA2. Based on Android 13 (One UI 5.0).

If you own a carrier-unlocked Galaxy S22 in the US, you should be able to see the update notification on your device soon. Alternatively, you can also manually check for the update by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.

One UI 5.1’s rollout will get more pace than the One UI 5.0

If you haven’t received the update yet, don’t worry – it should be hitting your device in the next few days.
