The South Korean tech conglomerate Samsung has an enormous lineup of processors as they produce chipsets for smartphones, tablets, wearables, and electric vehicles. Many of the manufacturers out there are using Samsung’s Exynos processor in their devices. One of Samsung’s chipsets is the Exynos modem 5300 which is capable of delivering an incredible 5G speed. So, let’s know more about this modem.

Informatively, the Exynos 5300 may be this year’s flagship chipset of the South Korean firm as it hasn’t been introduced yet. However, we aren’t so sure about it. Talking about this modem’s specifications, the company has manufactured this chip with the 4nm EUV process technology of Samsung Foundry. It has been said that this new 5G processor will be more power-efficient than its predecessor modems.

Besides, Samsung also said that this new Exynos modem is capable of delivering a network speed as high as 10 Gigabits per second with the help of FR1, FR2, and EN-DC’s support. Not only a network speed, but this chipset will also lend an incredible clock speed of up to 3.87Gbps. The chipset supports both standalone and non-standalone modes of mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G networks.

Let us tell you, to make the chipset capable of delivering faster network speed; the company has made it compatible with 3GPP’s 5G NR Release 16 standard. There is one thing to remember, in the LTE model, the chipset will deliver a peak download speed of up to 3Gbps and a peak upload speed of up to 422Mbps. As for 5G models, the peak download speed will be 10Gbps, and the peak upload speed will be 3.5Gbps.

As per the expectations, it may base Google Tensor G3 chipset; if that happens, we will get to see this chipset in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro devices. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this info, so please accept it with a pinch of salt.
