Samsung updates its three budget friendly devices to April 2023 security update

Samsung is always ahead when it comes to security updates; after distributing the April 2023 update to its flagship device, the company is expanding the update rapidly. The update is now live for three Budget-friendly devices, including Galaxy M04, Galaxy F04 and Galaxy A04e. Currently, the update is rolling out in India. Users can easily identify it by verifying these firmware version numbers A042FXXS2CWC3, E045FXXS2CWC3, and M045FXXS2CWC3, respectively.

for Galaxy A04e, Galaxy F04, and Galaxy M04 respectively. Moreover, these devices are listed under Quarterly security updates, which means they will get four updates per year as security patches. According to the information, it will be the second security update for the devices, so it is expected that the other two updates will be soon available within the year.

The latest update brings the April 2023 security patch, which doesn’t include any new features, but it has come with some patches that enhance the overall security of the devices. Moreover, it also includes some additional improvements that resolve the issues which are coming after the previous update, so if you are also one of those who are facing any issues after the One UI 5.1

The Galaxy A04e and Galaxy M04 were introduced back in 2022, while the Galaxy F04 is the latest device, which was introduced in January this year. However, all the devices are available in the budget-friendly category. As per the previous updates policy of Samsung, these devices will get at least two Android updates. It means all the devices will get Android updates up to Android 14 as well as the devices will also receive more security updates in the coming days.
