Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2.1 update: brings Modem updates

In a very short time, Google released one more beta update for the pixel devices; earlier, it released the Android 13 QPR3 beta 2 updates. Now, with some new improvements, the company has released Android 13 QPR3 Beta .1.

For starters, the QPR stands for Quarterly platform release; it is a type of quarterly update which brings new features and improvements for Pixel smartphones. Currently, Google is running the beta updates for the Android 13 QPR3 beta updates. Each update has brought some new features or improvements sequentially. 

Android 13 QPR3 beta 2.1 brings modem update

The Android 13 QPR3 beta 2.1 update is a minor update; according to the changelog, it only says “Modem updates”. However, there is no other specific information revealed by Google. 

The update is available for pixel devices with version number T3B2.230316.005. It is still using the March 2023 security patch. For the Pixel 7 pro, the update is available in 73.77MB of the software package.

This minor update to Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2 includes the following improvements:

  • Modem updates

If you’re already running Beta 2, you’ll automatically receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to Beta 2.1.

The Android 13 QPR3 beta 2.1 will be available for select Pixel smartphones, including Google Pixel 4a, Google Pixel 4a 5G, Google Pixel 5, Google Pixel 5a, Google Pixel 6, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Google Pixel 6a, Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel 7 Pro.

The latest beta update will only be available for the users who have enrolled in the Android beta program, but in case you are the one who hasn’t enrolled in the beta program, you can also join easily through the official Android beta program by this link.
