Samsung Team up with XBox to Open Free-to-Play Gaming Zones

Gaming is one of the trendy passions nowadays amongst kids, youth, to adults. To provide a better and life-like gaming experience, many companies come up with various gaming platforms, one of which is Microsoft’s Xbox. Recently, the South Korean firm Samsung joined hands with Xbox and introduced a new free-to-play “Gaming Zone” at Microsoft Experience Centers (MEC) in London and New York.

Informatively, this team-up is a result of Samsung’s partnership with Microsoft Xbox that started in June 2022. Specifically, box joined Samsung Gaming Hub to include its Xbox app on Smart TVs. Due to this partnership, Samsung Gaming Hub users can stream over 100 high-quality games now through the Xbox application. However, you should have the subscription of “Xbox Game Pass”. 

This time again, the reason for Samsung teaming up with Microsoft is a dedicated gaming space where gamers can play their favourite Xbox games, specifically on Samusng Gaming Hub. To make it possible, the companies have installed various Gaming Monitors and Samsung Smart TVs in the Microsoft Experience Centers (MEC). The Gaming Zones will now have three dedicated gaming areas, which are listed below. 

  • Cloud Gaming Zone- Featuring 55-inch Neo QLED Smart TVs for game streaming via the Samsung Gaming Hub. Visitors can instantly play the biggest games from Xbox and other top gaming partners with no downloads, storage limits, or console required. Just switch on your TV and play.

  • Living Room Zone- Showcasing 98-inch Neo QLED 4K HDR Smart TVs in London and an 85-inch Neo QLED 8K TV at the store entrance in New York.
  • Tournament Zone- With 24-inch Odyssey G3 Gaming Monitors (London) and 27-inch Odyssey G5 Gaming Monitors (New York) that give gamers the option to play games on Xbox Game Pass or Xbox console, providing flexibility for all gamers.

Let us tell you, the all-in-one game streaming discovery platform is powered by Tizen and features better-quality hardware and software for delivering the best of the bests gaming experience. This Hub also integrates Twitch, Spotify, and YouTube Gaming to provide entertainment along with gaming. It doesn’t even have a storage limit and doesn’t require a console or PC; instead, players need a Bluetooth-enabled gaming controller and an internet connection to play games.
