Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G gets One UI 5.1 update in the US [Locked]

After updating most of the smartphones with One UI 5.1, now the carriers are expanding the update to the older Galaxy tablets. Currently, the update is rolling out for the fan edition model of Galaxy Tab S7 FE. It is one generation older flagship tablet of Samsung. 

One UI 5.1 brings new enhancements to Galaxy tablets

One UI 5.1 update is the latest skin upgrade of Samsung, which involves some new enhancements for several built-in apps, including Camera: Now you can easily change the color tone of selfies by using the effects button, Multitasking: In popup view now you can adjust the window size by dragging the window edges in any direction while in the split view now you will see two categories of most used apps and recent apps so you can quickly select the apps for the split screen. Gallery: The remastering menu is now improved with new options. Apart from these, you are now able to extract text from images or screens as well as two new widgets are also introduced with an update, including the Battery widget

The One UI 5.1 update is currently landing on the Carrier locked variant of Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which is affiliated with the Verizon, and US Cellular network. The update comes with the firmware version T738USQU5CWC6. It also includes the new security patch in the form of March 2023 that fixes several security vulnerabilities. However, Samsung has already rolled out the same update for other US carriers a week ago.

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE device was launched back in 2021. It came with Android 11. According to time, it has grabbed new updates, and currently, it is running on Android 13. Being the older flagship device, it will at least receive three major updates, which means the Android 14 would be the last major update for the device.
