Samsung brings May 2023 security update for Galaxy A23

Samsung has started dropping the May 2023 security update from the end of last month. Initially, the company pushed the update to Galaxy A10e, and then it expanded the update to Galaxy S23 devices; now, going randomly, Galaxy A23 devices are receiving the same security update.

Currently, the May 2023 security update is rolling out in some Asian and European countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It could be available to more counties in the coming days.

Samsung expanding One UI 5.1 firmware for Galaxy A23 in several countries

Users who own Galaxy A23 smartphones in the above-mentioned countries can identify the latest update by the firmware version number A235FXXS2CWD1. The latest update brings new security enhancements for the device. It is also worth noticing that the update is currently available for the LTE variant, while the 5G version may get the update in the next few days.

Moreover, the May 2023 security update brings over 70 fixes that improve the internal function of the device so that it can remove the loopholes which can be harmful to your device’s safety. Ultimately, it will provide more smoothness to the functions as well as improves the stability of the device.
