Samsung Galaxy A54 starts receiving May 2023 security update

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is one of the premium devices of the Galaxy A lineup; this is the latest addition to the Galaxy devices. It was released back in March. Samsung has packed this device with the latest software, One UI 5.1, based on Android 13. Being an active company earlier, it released an update to fix camera behaviour, and now a new update is available for the device.

Galaxy A54 5G is now receiving a new update in the form of a May 2023 security patch which doesn’t bring any innovation. But as per the changelog, the Galaxy A54 5G is getting some stability improvements and enhancements for some internal features.

Apart from these, the changelog also includes new updates of several apps, including AR Zone, Clock, Galaxy wearable, Samsung Global Goals, Samsung Kids, Samsung free, Samsung Notes, Samsung Internet, Samsung Health, SmartThings, Galaxy Shop, Samsung Members, Samsung wallet, Samsung wallet, Samsung TV Plus, Calculator, Smart Switch, Voice Recorder.

Samsung has now rolled out May 2023 security update for Galaxy A54 in several countries, including India, Australia, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Australian units of the device are getting the update with version number A546EXXU2AWDC. While for other countries get this update on version number A546EXXU2AWDB.

Being a premium rage device of the Galaxy A series Samsung has listed this device in the monthly security update list. Which means you will get a new update every month. Along with this, users will also get new major updates in the form of One UI.
