New firmware available for Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic

Samsung always pushes new updates to provide significant features to its devices, including smartphones, Tablets, Smartwatches and other wireless accessories. The latest update aims to improve the user experience by providing useful innovations and improvements. Taking it as responsibility company is now rolling out a new update for Galaxy Watch 4.

The latest update is now rolling out for the LTE variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 series. And the Bluetooth variant of these watches has already received the update across the world. Currently, the update is served in India and could be available in other countries in the next few days.

It is worth noticing that there are four models available in the Galaxy Watch 4 series users, including Galaxy Watch4 LTE (SM-R865F) 40mm and Galaxy Watch4 LTE (SM-R875F) 44 mm, are getting the updated switch version number R865FXXU1GWDA and R875FXXU1GWDA respectively.

The Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE (SM-R885F) 42mm and Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE (SM-R895F) 46mm are receiving the update with these firmware version numbers R885FXXU1GWDA and R895FXXU1GWDA.

The latest update doesn’t include any new features. But as per the changelog, it updates Samsung Health to the new version and also brings some improvements for systems to enhance the stability and reliability of the device.

The latest update for Galaxy Watch 4 LTE comes in a 296.17MB software package. Users can update their watch by navigating to the Galaxy wearable on the connected device, tapping on watch settings and then tapping watch software update; now, if the update is available, tap on Download and Install.
