The Galaxy Tab S8 series is Samsung’s flagship device in the tablet segment. There are three models available in the series, including Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. All three models are also available in two variants as, WiFi and 5G Variant. In each variant, Samsung brings new updates at different times.

As of now, the Korean giant is rolling out a new security update for the WiFi variant of the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Users can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version number X700XXU4BWD8, X800XXU4BWD8, and X900XXU4BWD8. The update is expected to be available in 5G variants in the coming days.

The Galaxy Tab S8 has already received the May 2023 security update in Europe. The latest update brings the May security update, which comes with several security patches. For your information, the May 2023 security update has over 70 patches that enhance the security of the device, and as per the changelog, it also improves the performance and stability of the device.
