Samsung is now releasing the May 2023 security update to the Galaxy Note 10 series. As the Galaxy Note 10 series has already retired from the major update-grabbing job, so this update also falls in the minor update category with some security enhancements.

The Galaxy Note 10 series has already got the same update in its home country; now, it is expanding in the US. As per the information, the latest update is live for the unlocked variant of Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 + with firmware version numbers N970U1UEU7HWE1 and N975U1UEU7HWE1 sequentially.

The May 2023 security update brings several patches that fix several functionalities of Galaxy devices; for your info, 70+ security patches target the Android OS. As the update also includes Samsung’s exclusive patches, it improves several internal functions of Galaxy devices, including ActivityManagerService, ThemeManager, GearManagerStub, Knox Enrollment Service, and many more.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 back in 2019, and it came with Android 9. As the device is now four years old, it is no longer eligible for any Android update. At the time of release, Samsung promised to give only three Android updates that Samsung had already pushed; however, the device will get some minor updates in the form of security patches like this one.
