Galaxy S23 may receive at least one more One UI 5.1 update before beta program

Samsung is rumored to deploy the One UI 6 beta upgrade shortly as Google begins pushing out the Android 14 beta 4 update for qualified customers. Now a recent source states that the One UI 6 upgrade, which is based on Android 14 will soon be for selected ones. The Galaxy S23 series debuted with the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 skin earlier this year.

The South Korean tech company now revealed something that will make the S23 series users be on cloud nine. Samsung is getting prepared to extend another firmware update for the S23 range.

According to the reports, this additional One UI 6.0 update will also be scheduled for all the members of the S23 family – the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. The Exact timeline for the update release is unknown as the firm is busy unveiling the foldable and other devices at the Galaxy Unpacked Event on July 26.

However, it is unclear whether the updates will come into effect whether after or before the event. CID(@theonecid) shared the information that the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series has been spotted in Korean, US, and Canadian regions, and the firm is working on it with the build number AWG5 in his Twitter handle.
