Samsung Galaxy S10 was one of the most appreciated smartphones of the Galaxy S lineup. The devices were introduced back in 2019. It is equipped with all the latest high-end specifications of that time. The company has also promised to give four years of software support which includes three Android updates and four-year security updates.

The Galaxy S10 series devices have already crossed the fourth year, so the company has stopped rolling any new updates for the devices after March 2023 security update

. But surprisingly, a new update is spotted on some US carriers, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and US Cellular.

What comes with a new update?

The latest update doesn’t come with any significant changelog; according to the official description, it only improves the security of devices. Along with this company has also changed the terms and conditions of the device. 

The latest update is currently spotted on the carrier-locked variant of Galaxy S10. Users can easily identify the update by these firmware versions G970USQU9IWG2 for Galaxy S10e, G973USQU9IWG2 for Galaxy S10 base and Galaxy S10 + G975USQU9IWG2. It is expected that the same update may also be available to unlocked variants in the coming days.
