Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 discovered on FCC certification; major specifications revealed

Samsung expanded its tablet series by launching the Galaxy Tab S9 series, which added up to three tab variants: the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Not only the premium versions, but the firm will soon come up with the fan edition tablet variants, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, which appeared recently in the FCC listing, and the images have been revealed. Today another Galaxy Tab from Samsung popped up. The Galaxy Tab A9 was found on the FCC certification website. The FCC listing reveals the gadget’s model number as SM-X115.

The model is the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8, which was launched in 2021. The FCC filing states that the Tab A9 will have LTE, Wi-Fi, FM, GPS, and Bluetooth compatibility. The upcoming tablet is verified to have measurements around 210.7 mm in height and 124.7 mm in thickness. A type-C USB connector and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Another report states that the tablet also got Wi-Fi Alliance certification. A 5100 mAh battery system will be included along with the 15W rapid charging feature.

The images shared on the FCC listing show that the Galaxy Tab A9 features a flat-edge design with slightly rounded corners. The right side of the gadget is equipped with the power button and volume rocker. Additionally, support for external memory is included. The Galaxy Tab A8 arrived with a large 10.5-inch TFT LCD screen with a pixel resolution of 1200 x 1920.

The gadget is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8’s SoC is the Unisoc Tiger T618, and it is manufactured using 12 nm technology. The launch of the product can be expected in the fourth quarter of the year, just like its predecessor.
