You Shouldn’t Wait for One UI 6 (Android 14) on These Samsung Galaxy Phones

Every company has its own rules about how often they will update their devices. These updates can include things like making the device more secure, changing how it looks, or even updating the operating system. But no matter how good the support for a device is, it won’t last forever. Today, we’ll talk about some popular Galaxy devices that won’t get the new Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.

Samsung promises to update some of their devices every four years with new versions of the operating system and every five years with security updates. This includes certain phones from the Galaxy S series, the Galaxy Z foldable series, and the Galaxy A series. Specifically, phones like the Galaxy S21 and newer, the Galaxy A33, A53, A73, and newer A series phones, and third-generation and newer Galaxy Z foldable phones will get these updates.

Samsung One UI 6.0 refreshed the photo editing features

Samsung first introduced the beta versions of Android 14 and One UI 6.0 on their new Galaxy S23 phones. Unfortunately, this testing phase is only happening in certain countries like China, India, Poland, Germany, the UK, South Korea, and the US. This testing allows users to try out new features and make their phone work just the way they want it to.

Samsung announces the arrival of the One UI 6.0 beta with an official release explaining some of the new features. With the new version, users reportedly have a more personalized experience, with several changes to applications and features. Many elements have been adapted to look more modern: among them the quick settings panel, which we can begin to discover thanks to the image released.

Samsung One UI 6 Stable Update Could Delay

Samsung has already given out two test versions of One UI 6.0, which is based on Android 14. If Google takes longer than expected to do something, it could make Samsung wait longer to release the final, stable version of One UI 6.0 for the phones that can use it.

One UI 6.0 will not available for these Samsung devices

There are some popular devices which are running on Android 13-based One UI 5 but will not get the next one, the One UI 6.0 update. Their names are listed below.

  2. It’s really bad that they won’t update note series anymore. As samsung isn’t making note series anymore but they should keep remaining devices update so note lovers can experience same thing and they don’t have to dump their devices.

    Who agrees with me?

  3. They merged the note and the s series instead of calling it the note 22 they called it the s22 ultra so if note users want to upgrade to a new phone that’s square and has a spen they will just buy the ultra version of the s series

  4. I DON’T THINK ITS FAIR THAT ALL PHONES DOESN’T GET THE UI 6 UPDATE. THAT IS SO WRONG. EVERY PHONE DESERVES IT CAUSE EVERY PHONE DESERVES TO RUN SMOOTH, FIX BUGS, AND GET ALL THE UPDATES . SAMSUNG THATS SO NOT RIGHT !! I BELIEVE I WILL GO ELSE
