Samsung introduces its tablets in two lineups. One is the Galaxy Tab S, which is the flagship range, and the other is the Galaxy A, which represents the midrange lineup. Initially, the company introduced the One UI 5.1.1 update to the Galaxy S tablets, including the Galaxy Tab S8 series and Galaxy Tab S7 series. Now it is rolling out the update for the Galaxy A8 devices.

Notably, the latest update is available for the Galaxy Tab A8 devices in Europe. It is worth noting that the update is live for the latest Tab A810.5 2021. The update is available for both WiFi and LTE variants. The LTE variant is getting an update with the firmware version number X205XXU3CWI3. While the Wi-Fi variant is getting an update with firmware version number X200XXU3CWI3,

One UI 5.1.1 brings several new enhancements

One UI 5.1.1 is the latest update for the Galaxy devices, which are equipped with large and flexible screens. With the latest update, users will get new experiences in multitasking as it has improved several functions to maximize productivity. Along with this, three more functions are getting some new changes, like the taskbar, Quick Share, camera, and gallery. Additionally, it has brought some more features like drag and drop with two hands, lock screen change mode, Samsung internet customization, etc.

Moreover, due to hardware limitations, it has received some limited changes, while if you explore the One UI 5.1.1update for other devices, it has brought more new features, which will bring more novelties for the devices.

The Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 was launched back in 2022. The device comes with Android 11. Later, it received more major updates in the form of Android 12 and Android 13. However, there is very little chance that this device will get any other major software update.
