Samsung has announced bad news regarding the 1-2 month delay of its next Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch stable version, which is still running in its beta phase, to its Galaxy audience. Meanwhile, taking a significant lead, Google has just begun the rollout proceedings of its next software, Wear OS 5, to its Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2.

When Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 arrived with the next One UI 6 Watch build that will be delayed, which is based on Wear OS 5, out of the box, Google will significantly continue delivering the latest Wear OS 5 version to its smartwatches, including the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2, beginning today.

Meanwhile, this latest update integrates the September 2024 security patch along with other relevant yet improved features, including the addition of an app grid ability, recording functionality, enhanced camera controls, and more specifically, it even adds several relevant stability and performance optimizations to the overall functionality that will help users to have a more improved Wear OS experience.

Additionally, Samsung is still not in the mood to offer the One UI 6 Watch stable version; it’s continuing with several beta versions for months. As the intensity of expectations is growing higher, Galaxy fans need to wait a little more as the latest Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch is still undergoing its issue-resolving stage in order to fix some unfinished bugs and problems.

Amidst this rollout, the new Wear OS 5 is rolling out to the Google Pixel Watches, while it will be interesting to see when Samsung will make this newest build available to its Galaxy watches, including the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra alongside the One UI 6 Watch.
