Galaxy S25 Edge couldn’t seem to beat the Z Fold SE in slimness

Samsung has already showcased another member of the Galaxy S25 family, the upcoming flagship the S25 Edge via a short teaser at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025. Now a new leak hints the upcoming device seems slightly thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.

The leaker Ice Universe via X, highlights a resourceful information, confirming that the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be 5.84mm thick, while also claiming to weigh 162g. However, this assertion has already been made from the source of the same tipster earlier.

Although the Galaxy S25 Edge has been mocked as a slimmest yet stylish flagship ever; meanwhile, if in any case, the Galaxy S25 Edge will arrive with the same thickness as claimed above, then the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition significantly beats the S25 Edge in terms of slimness with being only 4.9mm thick.

Alternatively, Samsung actively achieved a much lightweight profile by incorporating a weight of 162g, but also the company apparently compromised the phone’s slim factor.

Moreover, a lot of rumours have already been circulating around that’s generating a sense of curiosity among fans, while the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to have a more stunning design; the phone is reported to be much more durable due to a ceramic back, rather than using some sort of Glass in order to make it scratch resistance.

Else, Samsung is tipped to be preparing itself for Galaxy S25 Edge’s launch somewhere likely in Q2, 2025.
