Currently, it is using traditional batteries in its smartphones, and to increase cost efficiency, it has not limited the battery capacity to 5000 mAh for its flagship device.
Meanwhile, it’s also revealed that the Korean tech giant is gearing up for applying All-Solid-State battery prototypes for the first ever time for its wearable smartring (Galaxy Ring) in Q4, 2025, true wireless earphones (TWS) in Q4 2026, and smartwatches (Galaxy Watches) in Q4 2027.
All of these reports suggest that Samsung is actively working on expanding its ways in terms of battery technology to enhance the long-lasting battery life; this will help the firm to stand strong against its competitors.
