Samsung Galaxy S25 users will soon get video file support for Gemini’s upload and analyze feature at no cost, which will enhance the searching experience.
Google is continuously upgrading the Gemini’s advancement over upgrades by offering new features and functionality. Now, a new report from one of our reliable colleagues, Android Authority, revealed that Gemini’s file upload and analysis feature is set to gain support for video files soon.
Initially, the evidence regarding the coming feature was spotted in a teardown of the Google app, and now a few more details, like video formats the feature might support on release, have come to known.
Currently, Gemini permits uploading and asking questions about several file types, such as document files, code files, plain text files, presentation files, spreadsheets, and tabular data files, but it does not support video files.
Reportedly, soon, Gemini’s upload and analyze feature will allow you to upload video files in different formats, including GP, AVI, FLV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MPG, and WebM. Its also reported that you can upload multiple videos simultaneously. However, Google will limit uploads based on the combined video duration for the subscribers and free accounts. But the Galaxy S25 users will be free from every limit on uploading videos since they already have a free paid suite.
Along with video support, Gemini’s upload and analyze feature could get support for GitHub repositories which will make it easier for users to analyze code fields using the chatbot.
