Samsung is preparing to debut its next-generation smartwatch series, including the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and before the official unveiling, a CAD render is surfacing online.
The Korean tech will debut the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic at the Unpacked event in July 2025. The company has not revealed a single official detail regarding the specifications and design of the coming watch, but leaks and rumors have already started blowing in the market.
Meanwhile, a tipster, @OnLeaks, on X (via Sammyguru) shared a post leaking the CAD renders of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. According to the leaked renders, the watch has a squircle body like the Galaxy Watch Ultra and features a physical rotating bezel.
Samsung could make the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic available only in a single size, i.e., 47mm. It could feature a 435mAh battery, which translates to a 450mAh typical capacity. It could feature a 1.5-inch display and measure rough dimensions of 46 x 46.5 x 14.2mm.
Previously, the watch has already been listed with the dedicated model numbers SM-L500, which stands for the Bluetooth version, and SM-L505, which stands for the LTE version. It’s expected that the coming Classic model could be rounder and thinner than its predecessor. The rotating bezel of the watch seems more pronounced and also has anti-slip ridges. Samsung offered a three-button configuration, including a crown-shaped button edged by two side keys.
However, these details are based on leaked renders, so it remains to be seen whether these rumored specifications and design will come into existence.
