Galaxy S25 Edge might not be eligible for the One UI 8 Beta program?

Samsung is about to begin the One UI 8 beta program for a few selective Galaxy phones, which will run Android 16 on top. While the current latest S series, the Galaxy S25 family, is already confirmed, the Galaxy S25 Edge might not be eligible for the upcoming beta program!

It’s been a while since Samsung has been following a pattern for the One UI beta program rollout, where the current latest Galaxy S series of the year tests the newest beta build, while the additional Fan Edition model remains out of this eligibility, as the company always pre-installs the device with the newest major OS that is going to arrive.

In simple words, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will be confirmed phones to test out the One UI 8 beta build (also, an internal beta build was also spotted), with the Galaxy S25 FE already pre-installed with One UI 8 at its release. At the same time, no One UI 8 internal beta build for the S25 Edge has surfaced yet.

With that said, analyzing the same pattern, Samsung might not open the latest One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25 Edge; in any case, at the time when the other members of the Galaxy S25 family are already testing the One UI 8 beta program, at least.

Well, Samsung is yet to officially announce any details regarding the One UI 8 version and the commencement of the beta program; the beta preparations seems in process. Until then, you can check out the eligible Galaxy devices that are supposed to receive the upcoming One UI 8 version.
