Samsung is now gearing up to expand its wearable smart ring family by introducing the next generation Galaxy Ring 2, but not this year.
Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Ring in July, initially in selected regions later it expanded its availability over time. At first, the ring was only available in nine different sizes from 5 to 13; later then the brand introduced two bigger size options, 14 and 15.
A few days back, Samsung launched a new limited-edition Galaxy Ring in a two-tone titanium black color alongside the Galaxy S25 Edge. Now, a new report from one of our reliable colleagues, GalaxyClub, reported that under the hood, Samsung started working on its next-generation smart ring called Galaxy Ring 2.
However, it’s reported that, despite Samsung already starting work on the Galaxy Ring 2 doesn’t plan to launch the ring this year. Since the development is still at such a stage that it does not hint at the expected launch in 2025. It’s highly anticipated that the company could introduce the Galaxy Ring 2 in 2026 alongside the Galaxy S26 series at the Unpacked event.
