Samsung is all set to launch the next-generation foldable phones: Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, and their price are anticipated not to be affected by the US tariff.
In recent days, the Korean tech firm has been in talks regarding the US tariff and is reportedly changing its sales strategy amid the tariff crisis. Last week, it was also revealed that Samsung will pay a 25% tariff on Galaxy phones sold in the US market. Due to this, it was expected that the company would hike the price of its upcoming foldable phones.
Now, a tipster, @PandaFlashPro, shared a post on X, claiming that Samsung will increase the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in a few countries, whereas most of the markets will keep prices the same as their predecessors.
According to the tipster, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 would start at $1899, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could cost $1099 for the base variant. However, the tipster didn’t mention countries names where Samsung will hike the cost of the foldable phones.
Up to date, Samsung has only confirmed that both devices will run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box and will debut by mid-July at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
