Good Lock’s One Hand Operation+ update adds One UI 8-based System back gesture

Samsung has achieved remarkable excellence when it comes to delivering the latest updates not only to its Galaxy smartphones but also to its apps and services; meanwhile, the Good Lock’s One Hand Operation+ is getting a new update for an efficient user experience.

The One Hand Operation+ is a Good Lock module that customizes the phone’s settings in such a manner that makes it easier to use the device with just one hand.

Now, Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the app, while the post-update for the One Hand Operation+ takes it to a new version, 8.1.29 and is currently available to download via the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store.

More specifically, the changelog lists a few factors, where the update significantly adds the support to add handle or remove handle button, but most prominently, the latest updates brings the support for System back gesture in Advanced settings option; which is however, supported for the devices running One UI 8 version.

At the same time, the update also fixes the force close issue that is occurring in Quick tools in One UI 8 supported devices.

Beyond this, the latest update for the One Hand Operation+ further integrates fixes for a few bugs that were addressed in the previous version, while also improving stability to provide a smoother and efficient overall app behaviour.

Well, Samsung is currently working on its next generation OS, One UI 8, while the Galaxy S25 series have already started testing the first beta in a few selective countries, therefore, some of the capabilities mentioned above will only be limited to the S25 models as they are only running One UI 8, at least for now
