Galaxy Z Fold 7’s leaked SIM Tray hints at new color variant

Samsung is just two weeks away from debuting the next-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and ahead of its official launch, its leaked SIM trays hint at the new color variant.

Last week, it was reported that Samsung could hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 in New York to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE. The next-generation smartwatch series, Galaxy Watch 8, is also expected to debut at the event.

A previous report has already revealed the color variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, according to which the device will be available in at least two color variants, including Jet Black and Blue Shadow. Meanwhile, one of our reliable colleagues, SammyGuru, leaked a few SIM Tray images of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is appearing in the silver color. This hints that the device could also be available in the Silver color variant.

The images of the ribbon cable also leaked, which are typically used to connect the motherboard, where the SoC and cameras are typically stored, to a daughter board. It usually places the lower speaker and microphone. Apart from this, a USB-C connector is also appearing in the image.

The image also includes a list of region shorthands, North America, Europe, China, Korea, and Global, designating its eventual destination, and also holds the model number SM-F966. However, Samsung has yet to release any official details regarding the color variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked colors will come into existence.
